The 5th Southwest-Pitch in “Silicon Luxembourg”
Belval – Luxembourg, September 23rd 2016. The start-up scene of Luxembourg assembled yesterday at Technoport (business incubator and co-working space for innovative start-ups in Belval Luxembourg) to watch the four selected tech-Start-ups Jobninja, Largowind, Lineupr and Yollty present their business models during the 5th Southwest-Pitch – hosted by the SAR.FACTORY and Technoport SA.
In only seven minutes the four start-ups had to convince the expert-jury, investors and LUX business angels of their abilities and business concepts. Afterwards, the audience was given another seven minutes to raise their questions. To select a winner of the competition, everyone voted for its favourite start-up per mobile voting.
The big winner of the evening was Yollty, a young Luxembourgish business that provides rewards for customer engagement. Followed by Largowind, a security service for boats, Lineupr, a mobile event guide app and Jobninja – the “Tinder” for Jobs.
Alexandros Trepeklis, Gerrit Brück and George Tontas from Yollty were visibly happy to have won the leading prize(s). “The whole team is extremely happy! It’s very nice to get the approval from the judges and the prizes are really good.”
